P.M.F. S.r.l. (www.pmfonline.net) is an Italian enterprise specialized in e-learning tools (LMS and contents) with a truly competence in R&D, computer graphics and multimedia.

Our core business is based on vocational education and development of web-based solutions for collaborative learning and educational content management as:
- Collaborative environments for content creation
- Collaborative Learning Content Management System
- Social Network
- Semantic WEB solution for WEB2.0

Thanks to our close collaboration with the LOA-ISTC-CNR (Laboratory of Applied Ontology - Institute of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies - Italian National Council of Research) we are investigating and developing Semantic web technology for a collaborative e-learning and multilingual Social Networking scenario.

The following are the main activities we are specialised:

R&D skills
- Coordination of EU funded e-learning projects (
www.bonynetwork.eu andwww.mvcs.it )
- experienced in Knowledge Management technologies (Ontology and Sematic WEB) for e-learning scenario, Social network approach, user profiling and web-based collaborative Content Management System, Natural Language Processing and Web Table Mining, Linguistic meta-model for semantic annotation, OWL Web Ontology Language, Information extraction from text, Semantic Information Retrieval;
- development of Semantic Web Services and Social Network infrastructure for collaborative learning and knowledge sharing;
- design and production of Learning Objects (LO) which are SCORM compliant and built on latest technologies, including a high degree of multimedia and interactive elements (Scenario-based learning, Quizzes, learning-Games).
- we can transform complex matters into persuasive graphic tutorials or develop graphics to ensure accuracy and optimal clarity.

Dissemination skills
- development of web sites, CD-ROMs, and graphical animation (Flash format).
- designing of publications, proceedings, books, brochures, logotypes, graphic identities, illustrations;.
- implementation of on line application, dynamic web sites, dynamic databases; XML and JavaScript.
- designing of computer-generated images and dynamic Flash files (connected to databases, graphical engines, etc).
- production of contents for audiovisual promotion and distribution, such as book-trailers, web-fictions, contents generated in congresses, seminars and different types of events, etc.

In relation to your partner search, we are glad to contribute in the following domains:
- Commercial digital content modules and content repositories;
- Intercultural training providers and content developers ( but we are not content providers);
- Intercultural and pedagogic experts (especially in collaborative learning);

P.M.F. is coordinating the following EU-funded projects:

- MVCS (Mobile videoconference system -
