The Institute of Communications and Information Technologies of Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (ICIT KRSU) develops information technologies for mining, building and other industries (http://www.blastmaker.kg/en) to lower the amount of conventional explosives, at explosion of which the oxides of nitrogen and other harmful materials are thrown out into the atmosphere. The additional goal is to increase the quality of rock crushing using the smaller charges of explosives.

Taking into account that mentioned technology allows decreasing the emissions of hazardous substances without eliminating them completely, a new research area has been opened at the institute - the creation of ecologically clean explosives and mining technologies matching the highest demands of environmental protection.

One of the solutions of such issue has been found during the implementation of ISTC Project #KR-341 "Technology and device for continuous hard rock blasting with oxygen and hydrogen charges" (http://www.istc.ru/istc/sc.nsf/html/projects.htm?open&id=KR-341&lang=en. The project results were appreciated positively.

In the elaboration of the project a new challenge is raised to create more perfect explosives for increasing the safety of blasting, lowering its production and storage costs, promoting the wide application of ecologically clean mining processes.

Such task can be solved in the process of investigation of unconventional technologies and devices, for instance, drill-and-blast planers for continuous hard rock destruction without oversizes using blasts of water charges in the surface layer of high benches. The preliminary results of works in this area are positive.

ICIT KRSU has necessary intellectual, material and technical resources for the implementation of mentioned research as well as the creation and experimental testing of the generator of blasts of water charges.

ICIT KRSU seeks for:

- coordinator for FP7 Project;
- partners.
For the purpose of carrying out the joint FP7 project we would like to establish relations with scientific and industrial enterprises, engaged in R&D matching the activities of our organization, for example, in the field of:
- ecologically clean mining technologies;
- unmanned open pits;
- line development of deposits using the method of continuous hard rock destruction in the surface layer of slopes without the roof break of rocks in pillar;
- technologies of the sparing production of diamonds;
- selective mining of precious minerals;
- building of high benches in hydraulic and highway engineering;
- mining mechanical engineering, specifically, the designing and production of dynamic planers, equipped with the generators of rapidly alternating blasts of water charges;
- building and reconstruction of pit walls in deep open pits simultaneously with performing stripping and mining works in faces;
- continuous destruction of hard rocks without oversizes at the inclined plane of bench slopes;
- conveyor transportation of overburden;
- technologies of the highly profitable mining of the bottom-most part of deep open pits without excavators.
